River City Grill and Pizzeria

"Really only Soso at best. Our server was really good and high point of meal. Fried fish was mushy, just not good. Sausage appetizer was pretty good but one type way overcooked and dry. I think our server was named Scruffy and she was excellent. The night were there, their pizza oven was down so offerings were quite limited. All in all, a mediocre experience I would not repeat."

"This is a great place to stop for a southern lunch or dinner. They have everything from hamburger steak, wings, chicken alfredo, etc. The amount of fried pickles we got were astounding!! The server was very nice and kept our drinks full. It feels like your typical mom and pop southern restaurant"

"River City Grill & Pizzeria in Bainbridge Ga could be phenomenal, but sadly it's not. Large restaurant, plenty of room but food didn't meet expectations. I was one of a party of seven. Three of us ordered Pizza / Calzone - probably the wisest choice. Presented on long rectangular plates, the initial impression was good. The pork chop was a good size, but too dry to finish. No gravy, nothing. The green beans just tasted bad (vinegary maybe? Very odd... Just bad). Vegetable of the day was squash (a mixture of zucchini and yellow squash) which I usually like, but this was cooked to death and watery, very bland, no seasoning at all. The salad bar was nothing special and looked half empty. They were out of the hamburger steak and the wings. My friend ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and she said it was okay, but nothing to write home about. She did enjoy the crispy waffle fries, said she had never had waffle fries that crispy before. Out of the seven of us, none of us finished our meal, and only the three who got pizza bothered to take their food home. On a good note, server was good and kept drinks coming and asked several times if we needed anything. We left her a good tip; not her fault that the food was disappointing. "The pizza and atmosphere at River City Grill and Pizzeria were excellent. The salad bar was disappointing with salad veggies way too large to eat. The veggies and lettuce should have been cut into smaller pieces rather than full lettuce leaves and huge chunks of veggies. The kid's menu should always include more than just a single entree. When ordering a kid's chicken tenders meal, fries, or another option should always be included rather than being extra. The game room was lots of fun. Our new waiter struggled but ultimately came through okay. I think that with my recommendations, this place could become a superior place for dining. Thank you "

"Since I live 20 minutes away, River City Grill has become a favorite place to eat. I have eaten there a half dozen times and the food has consistently tasted good. Never disappointed. The atmosphere, service, food and prices are well worth it! Even coworkers ask to go back whenever given the opportunity. As someone who enjoys delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, and reasonable prices, this is one of my favorites. They have a game room for the kids too!"

"Got there 2 hours before closing. Place was kinda messy. Not very busy. Waited an hour for food. Hate when they leave the shrimp tails on basically forcing u to touch ur own food. Our waitress was also the bartender. She was very nice and polite, got our drink and food order correct came back to check on us multiple times. Food was delicious but expensive. 15$ plate of shrimp Alfredo with only 5 shrimp. Will consider coming back."
